On this tour, you will visit the historic center of Arica, the Azapa Valley, the Morro de Arica, the market Asoagro and the city’s beautiful beaches “La Lisera”, “El Laucho”, and “Arenillas Negras”. Also, you will stop by the impressive Caves of Anzota, which were formed by the pacific ocean and the wind.
Departure from the hotel, we visit the Cathedral of San Marcos and the former Customs building (now the "House of Art"), both designed in the workshops of the famous French architect Gustave Eiffel. We continue to the ExI-Island Alacran (Scorpion) , then we stop at the beaches (Laucho Lisera, Arenillas Negras) and visit the Morro of Arica. Afterwards we make our way to the asoagro terminal (local agricultural products), then enter the Valley of Azapa to discover the geoglyphs of Hat Mountain and the Archaeological Museum "San Miguel de Azapa" showing including collection of sand-preserved mummies and pre-Inca relics dating back to 10,000 BC. Return to hotel.
